BRB, Im going to be pretending I’m still in the Outer Banks for the rest of the summer. First, I want to send the biggest congratulations to Carl and Megan on their marriage.  Witnessing every intimate moment of their Whalehead Club wedding day was an honor and thinking of the moment they read their letters to each other still gives me chills.  Carl really knows how to make a girl cry, ok. To be honest, Andie and I knew the moment we walked into the salon where the girls were getting ready, that we were going to be in love with this day. I mean, the salon had a beautiful golden retriever.  I had to dedicate a solid 5 minutes of my time to love on this pooch! Every wedding day should start with puppy cuddles.

Megan has been planning this wedding for almost 2 years and she knocked it out of the park!  Her teal, blush and gold color palette was a stunner!  These two kept things sweet and simple, a couple after my own heart. They made sure their day reflected them – OBX being their favorite place where the vacation every year, and were surrounded by only their closest friends and family.  Watching them all celebrate with the sun setting off of the sound was stunning.  I think the Whalehead could possibly be a new favorite for me.  Their half clear top tent against the Whalehead club backdrop was killing me.  In all the right ways of course!  I couldn’t get over how beautiful the sunset was here.  I was counting the seconds for their sunset portraits because the light was TOO good.   I couldn’t have planned a better wedding if I tried.  So congrats again to the newly weds.  Thank you so much for having Andie and I to document every step of your day.  AND- thank you both so much for introducing me to the Outer Banks.  Im still not sure how I have never been before, that changes now!
