We are flashing back to last week when I was fortunate enough to be invited into the beautiful home of the McKinstry family for a super fun and relaxed in-home family session!  John and Elyse just welcomed their first baby, their son Jackson. First and foremost, Elyse and John, I heart you guys.  These two were incredibly easy to chat and laugh with.   I love getting to really connect with my families and these two were the bees knees!  Not to mention, their son Jack-man (nicknames are my thing) he was the CUTEST little squish!  Im so happy that I do not catch baby fever because this little boy was perfection.  He was wide eye and bushy tailed for majority of their session and I crap you not, he did not make a sound! Easiest 3.5 week old baby boy I’ve ever photographed!

I love when I get the chance to document a new family.  I get to sit back and watch as mommy and daddy love on and interact with something that is literally a piece of them, yet it is so new and unfamiliar.  The joy and love in their eyes when they look at their son and all of the snuggles they gave him, he is so so so loved.  And he has two of the best parents ever.  I know John is super excited to kill it at being a dad and Elyse is already a knock out mom!  So thankful for their invitation to come and creep on them in their home.  As always, lots of favorites because Im such a wimp when it comes to narrowing the images I love the most down.  Im biased for sure.  Enjoy you guys!
