What a weekend!  I drove my happy butt down to Topsail North Carolina on Thursday so I could celebrate hard with Sean + Kelsey!  These two have a special place in the their hearts for the coast and they wanted a tropical beach wedding and I think they nailed it!  They had a few obstacles thrown their way, like hurricane Florence that had a lot of Topsail still under construction or closed.  Then there was the 90+% chance of severe thunderstorms ON the day of their wedding.  Lets just say, I’m sure these two were stressed.

Friday morning rolled around and it was a BEAUTIFUL day.  Windy, yes, but NOT A DROP OF RAIN IN SIGHT! Mother Nature pulled one out for us and held the storms off until later that night.  I arrived at the loft where the gals were getting their beauty on and was STUNNED.  I LOVED the green scheme Kelsey picked for her girls.  Green may be a new favorite of mine and I love something different.  Then Brittney of Verzaals arrived with the bouquets and my heart squealed! I’m fairly certain I said “hello my precious” the moment I laid eye on Kelseys bouquet.  I felt like I was in Florida or Hawaii but nope, just in North Carolina.

Everyone in attendance were troopers. The wind was a bit much, not sure anyones hair survived.  The storm front mixed with the moon had the tides coming in soon than hoped so some feet may have gotten a bit wet during the ceremony.  All of this just adds to the story of Sean and Kelseys wedding though, and it was perfect.  Oh, and lets not forget all the emotions we all felt.  Sean completely LOST it the moment Kelsey and her father hit the top of the steps before coming down the aisle.  He lost it to the point that I lost it, the bridesmaids lost it, his mother lost it, we all lost it.  The man loves this woman and its so obvious for us all to see. Then Kelseys father gave a speech…NOT A DRY EYE IN THE HOUSE.  I’ll spare all the ladies that I snagged photos of ugly crying because it was just too real. It was such an incredible day and Im so pumped to let you guys in on it.

Kelseys momma hand made these for her to wear down the aisle.  Thankfully Kelseys momma was also the one who broke them putting them on her haha.  Thankfully, they can be fixed and kept for safe keeping.

Im a little obsessed with Kelseys father, Andy.  This man is such a sweet heart and I loved getting to meet him.

Had to escape the hurricane force winds outside and give these girls (and their hair) some indoor love too. =P
