What up my people?! Im just an average gal who's a sucker for the simple things in life. Chances are if I'm not hunkered down getting shit done at my desk, Im out exploring or swinging in my hammock next to a nice watering hole. Anywhere in nature makes me happy but I love me a good mountain view - extra brownie points if those mountain views are in the PNW because its my extra happy place. I've been kickin' it at this whole photography thing for 4.5 years now and Im happy to report that Im still going strong and my love for my art is still fierce as ever! Funny story, when I was a little kid, I went to Guatemala for the first time with my family and I acted like a total brat the entire time I was there. Why you may ask? Because my parents wouldn't let me take photos with the disposable camera. Needless to say, I was meant to do this.
The last two years of my life have been non-stop travel. I hopped on a plane almost 3 years ago for my first solo trip to Europe and I've been hooked ever since. Im a sucker for new cultures, food, beer and stunning views. Im also a really big sucker for architecture. Im not sure where this is coming from but as I get older, its getting stronger.
I know, weird. But honestly, I find long road trips very soothing. There is nothing better than new and unfamiliar views, good tunes and the windows down with the wind in your hair. I won't lie, I am not a big fan of traffic but all of the stops along the way make it #worthit!
My family has 3 spoiled rotten little pups Unfortunately, none of them are ever in photos together. In fact, the two small poochies are terrified of my camera. Im not sure why. I put my camera up to my face and they turn away. But I love these spoiled rotten little pains in my booty! They make coming home that much easier.
Oh man, I love cannon beach some kind of awful. I love all of the PNW but Oregon really holds a special place in my heart. And Cannon beach. Everytime I go to Portland I head to Cannon beach. Ive watched the sunrise and set with haystack as the view and it never gets old. The reflection off the sand and the sound of the gulls flying around. Everyone walking on the beach has a dog. Its my favorite slice of heaven.
I love the mystery of the ocean. Its beautiful yet terrifying at the same time. I love the different shades of blue, how it can be warm and then freezing. I love all the pretty colors of the life that lives within the oceans. I love sharks and sea turtles and whales. I love how the waves sound and how the salt air smells. Sometimes it doesn't smell all that good though haha
A favorite that I wish I took more advantage of. I love any and all camping, you name it, I've done it. A tent, cabin, car, hammock. If I'm promised to fall asleep and wake up to a pretty view with the awful smell of a campfire in the distance. I am game!
I'm that girl. Yep. That facebook friend you have that shares the super cute animal videos almost every day because a cute animal a day makes everyone's day better! Right? Im an animal snob and I love dogs the most. Im a softy and melt and talk in a high pitched baby voice anytime I see a dog. Im not ashamed.

Where would I be if it weren't for my crazy, loud, obnoxious family? We drive each other up a tree but at the end of the day, they are the ones who are there for you when you need them. My BIGGEST cheering section. The ones that want nothing but success for me and everything I do in life.. I love them more than
My friends are my second backbone. Although this hectic life of mine leaves me with less free time to see them, they are always there when I need them. True friends. The ones that outlast a few months of being out of touch and can pick up like it was yesterday. They've been through all of my ups and downs and I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for them.
The 3rd love of my life. The one thing that gives me an entirely new outlook on everything and inspires me to the very core. Every adventure I go on, I come back home refreshed, and slightly sad, but who doesn't, am I right? I love meeting people from all over the world and experiencing new cultures. Traveling has shaped me into a better person.
