I love exploring and getting to experience new things. I've been fortunate enough to turn my love for moments into a business and this has been an entirely new adventure that I fall more in love with every day. I've been hustlin' hard for the past 4 years and finally took the plunge on March 11th of 2016 and left my 8-5 desk job doing claims for a military moving company and took my dreams full-time! After years of photographing couples exchanging their vows to one another and hundreds of portrait sessions, I am still just as excited to show up to "work" as I was in the beginning. I adore each and every one of my couples & families. It is a complete honor that my clients want me along for their lifes adventure.
most of the people that know me know that it's rare to find me in one place for too long. Back in March 2016 I embarked on my first SOLO trip across the pond to gain some guidance and independence in life and I have not looked back ever since! My goal is to take at least one trip every month until I am 30 and finish it off with a road trip of the US!
I know, weird. But honestly, I find long road trips very soothing. There is nothing better than new and unfamiliar views, good tunes and the windows down with the wind in your hair. I won't lie, I am not a big fan of traffic but all of the stops along the way make it so, so worth it.
My family is fortunate enough to have 3 dogs as full family members. Unfortunately, none of them are ever in photos together. In fact, the two small poochies are terrified of my camera. I love these spoiled rotten little pains in my booty! They make coming home that much easier.
Brown combat boots at that! Neutral colors are my jam and brown is the leader of the pack. I should actually invest in really good combat boots but instead I own about 6 different pairs of Target brand boots. Such is life though, right?
The ocean is the most diverse place in the world. I love the unknown, the mystery, the danger of the ocean. Its so powerful yet so calming at the same time. I love that everything in this world is intertwined with the ocean. Plus, I dare you to go to one sea town and not fall in love with that nautical charm
A favorite that I wish I took more advantage of. I love any and all camping, you name it, I've done it. A tent, cabin, car, hammock. If I'm promised to go to sleep and wake up to a pretty view with the awful smell of a campfire in the distance. I am game!
I'm that girl. Yep. That facebook friend you have that shares the super cute animal videos almost every day because a cute animal a day makes everyone's day better! Right? Animals are very misunderstood and I love learning more about them and interacting (even if from afar) while they are in their natural habitat. Literal high for me.
I've been fortunate enough to travel the world within the last two years.
Follow along with where I have been and where I am headed next!
Where would I be if it weren't for my crazy, loud, obnoxious family? We drive each other up a tree but at the end of the day, they are the ones who are there for you when you need them. My BIGGEST cheering section. The ones that want nothing but success for me and everything I do in life.. I love them more than they know.
My friends are my second backbone. Although this hectic life of mine leaves me with less free time to see them, they are always there when I need them. True friends. The ones that outlast a few months of being out of touch and can pick up like it was yesterday. They've been through all of my ups and downs and I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for them.
The 3rd love of my life. The one thing that gives me an entirely new outlook on everything and inspires me to the very core. Every adventure I go on, I come back home refreshed, and slightly sad, but who doesn't, am I right? I love meeting people from all over the world and experiencing new cultures. Traveling has shaped me into a better person.
