Hot dang what a wedding these to hadmy friends. I can’t think of two people more down to earth than Shawn + Katie. And let me tell ya, they had a picture perfect day from start to finish at the always beautiful Jefferson Patterson Park, celebrated by all of their friends and family. Im not sure I could have planned a better wedding. My day started at Katies sisters home with all of her sisters and her bff’s. Watching Katie get all dolled up and then step in her stunner of a wedding gown AND THEN get buttoned up by her niece, Ella, was the sweetest thing! Watching Katie walk up her to soon-to-be husband for their first look was the second sweetest thing. Shawn looked so handsome and you would be lying to yourself if you didn’t agree that Katie is a stunning bride.
Their first dance was the BEST. They swayed and sung and then out of no where they started swinging each other around, letting loose and laughing and just having the best time. Shawns family even has this tradition where they all get together and sing every year. It was in another language but they invited everyone on to the stage to take part and it was awesome to witness. I always feel bad because when I share on the blog, it really is the smallest little glimpse into such a big day. So enjoy this scroll because its a good one.
