Mike + Ashley are easily two of the sweetest people I have ever met.  We ended up doing their consult via facetime since the distance between us is a bit much so it was nice getting to meet them in person and really see how these two interact together.

Their engagement story is one for the books from their careers in politics in both the House + Senate leading them to each other to their epic proposal on a catamaran at sunset in Florida. I knew just from the amount of love Ashley had described for me in their questionnaire that these two were going to be easy as hell to get along with and even more incredible together in person.

Since their stories started in Annapolis, Ashley + Mike knew thats exactly where they wanted their engagements to be.  Ashley had always dreamed of having their engagements at the State House here in Maryland and to top it, she wanted them at the top of the Dome!  Ashley pulled some strings and sure enough she was able to get us access to the top of the Dome.  We were all super excited!  None of us had been up to the Dome as you need to be escorted by security so it was an adventure for us both.  It was an honor to document two people so excited for what this next year holds for them.  They made my job so incredibly easy and even beat the heat with me.  Ps-  Thanks for the sweat rag! HA.  It was hot! I had so many favorites from my time with them so bare warning now, there are a bunch!
