Im a firm believer that every couple should have photos taken for their anniversary as often as possible.  You get to look back at how much you both have grown together.  Yaya + Shereem never had a big wedding with wedding portraits so they got all jazzed up and met me in DC to celebrate their anniversary.  When Shereem showed up to Meridian Hill, she was wearing what was supposed to be her wedding dress and I was floored.  She looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in her gown and lets not lie to ourselves and forget how handsome Yaya was looking in his suit too.  These two were dressed to impress and Im still not sure how they pulled it off so effortlessly because it was HOT!  I was a sweaty mess and these two were still lookin’ like rockstars.   This was our first time at Meridian hill and it did not disappoint.  Even with the fountains being under construction, it was the perfect little piece of heaven tucked within the craze of the city. We had this beautiful glowy light the entire night and I was just slightly excited that everything was coming together so well, we were celebrating after all.   Happiest of anniversary wishes to these two!  I wish you both years of happiness. I cant wait to celebrate more milestones!
