Can you believe we are already 10 days into 2020! My first wedding of the new decade was a real winner my friends! I celebrated with Richard + Taylor for a super fun, and strangely warm, Historic Downtown Fredericksburg wedding! I was just pumped to get see Taylor + Richard again. Something you’ll notice as you scroll through, Taylor has the most infectious smile. It instantly brightens your day and Richard is a freaking hoot! He constantly cracks me up which is likely why Taylor is always smiling.
It felt like months since I last saw them for our fun boating adventure for their engagement celebration – which was a blast all on it own. Good thing Richard made the first move at their gym where they met because Im not sure these two could have found a more perfect match for each other. From the mouth of the Best Man, Rich apparently has a horse shoe up his butt! haha! Which totally explains how lucky these two got with the weather on the big day. It was forecasted to rain ALL DAY and it didn’t rain until just before the ceremony started. And boy did it rain.
Funny story, and just in case none of you guys are aware on why they say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Rich, Taylor, Kyle and I were waiting for the trolly that Taylors mom had reserved for us to drop off guests and come back to get us. They asked why people say rain on your wedding day is good luck while it was POURING its booty off outside. From the expression “tying the knot”, when you get the knot wet (or any fabric for that matter) it becomes extremely hard to untie or to break. So when it rains on your wedding day, it signifies that your marriage is going to be just as unbreakable. Just a little Friday knowledge Im throwing your way.
Anyhoo, as I get too carried away. You guys are in for a real treat. I am the WORST at narrowing down less than 200 favorites to showcase my couples wedding day. But this day was too darn good to not include them all. Richard + Taylor, I love you both. I couldn’t have kicked off my 2020 wedding season with a better couple and I hope you two have one hell of a good time in Costa Rica! It’s an incredible country!
