Talk about a killer display of styling skills! Lizzie and Drew left no stone unturned for their stunner of a wedding at Medicine Wind Farm in South Carolina. What a way to bring their day together and to incorporate themselves and what they love into their big day. I walked into their reception barn and bout DIED from all the details. They really outdid them selves. They road tripped all over and collected antique china for their table settings. They were PERFECT and I loved every single one of them. THEN to add to the epic-ness of collection antique china from other states, every centerpiece was a postcard of a place they visited together and it included a little tid-bit of info for their guests about what they did in that spot. ADORABLE. But wait, there’s more!
On top of each place setting was a little suitcase that said “for richer or poorer” and inside of those little boxes were gold/chocolate coins and a scratch off! I WAS LOVING IT! Their table chart was the cutest too! They folded paper airplanes out of maps and thats how their guests found their seats. These two clearly love exploring together and I was eating it up. These two also happened to pick one heck of a weekend to get married! It was May the 4th the day of their actual wedding, as well derby day and the next day was cinco de mayo! A big weekend my friends. They incorporated all three into their day perfectly. Jamie, the coordinator for Medicine Wind Farm had a horse and pony available for portraits, they had a margarita bar for cocktail hour that was also stocked with quesadillas and tacos, the wedding hashtag was #MaytheforthbeHarris, Lizzie gifted Drew a beautiful pair of millennium falcon cuff links AND these guys had one hilariously fun light sabor send off! I mean IT WAS JAM PACKED with goodies.
Lets also talk about the fact that it was forecasted to rain…no STORM on their wedding day. Lizzie was cool as a cucumber and didn’t care. She said rain or shine, her and Drew were going to get hitched under this beautiful pecan tree beside the barn. With a little planning and watching the radar like a hawk, we pushed the ceremony back a few minutes and they were able to have their dream ceremony beneath that stunner of a tree. It was a perfect day and I am SO excited to relive it all again!
