Remember last weekend?  The 18 degree weather weekend? Not only did I photograph a wedding last week, I also wandered around Old Town Alexandria with two of the bravest and sweetest folks you’ll ever meet.  Lura and James have been dating for just about forever and James finally sealed the deal this past fall making Lura the happiest gal in the county! I am so happy that they invited me along to celebrate their engagements with them! It was funny,  we knew it would be cold because we planned their engagements in January but Lura and I came to the conclusion that as long as it wasn’t frigid, we would be ok! We were even hoping for a little snow and not only did we get some snow, but we got the coldest weather of the year! There seems to be a pattern going on here… Its warm during the week and frigid on the weekends, which is usually when I’m shooting.  Whats going on?  These two are troopers though!  An hour walking around town with some hot hands and some determination, we all were rocking through it!  We had the most beautiful winter light and these guys literally glowed!  It was perfection!  So many images that I love of these two!  And Im extra thankful for hot hands! How I never heard of them, I’ll never know. Enjoy my friends!
