Its crazy to think that the NPS is expecting the peak cherry bloom to be sometime next week yet here we are… battling 40 degree temps that really feel like 30 degree temperatures.  This past weekend was chilly, but extra pretty!  I made my way to the always beautiful, Alexandria, VA for a fun celebration for a new little squish that will be joining the Desai family in April.  This was their first time having family portraits taken and I was SO excited to be the photographer that Anjie chose!   It was a beautiful day…. in the sun- but we were by the water and spent most of our time in the shade so it was a CHILLY session for all of us.  Thankfully my clients are all rock stars so you would never even know that we were all freezing.

But enough about the weather, lets chat about how stunning Anjie is.  Pregnancy looks good on ya girl friend!  Not to mention, Anjie has two handsome men by her side.  Al and Dhilan were adorable together.  Dhilan is a curious 2 year old.  He was fascinated by everything that Alexandria had to offer which made it a little more difficult than usual to get that smile out of him, never fear though… because it happened!  I could just squeeze his little ole cheeks all day, he is that cute!  And Dhilan is VERY smart!  The boy was counting his numbers and saying his ABC’s the entire session!  Future whiz kid right and brother right here!  Enjoy some of my favorites from their beautiful waterfront maternity session.
