You know what my “ideal” client is? Someone who genuinely loves my work. I was out of the country and Samantha reached out to me to express how much she loved my work and wanted to know more about my pricing for documenting her nuptials to her lover boy, Bradley. Unfortunately, I was out of her price range and they wouldn’t be able to book me to photograph their wedding. A few days later she reached back out to me expressing how sorry she was for any confusion but that she had a knot in her stomach for not meeting and booking with me and that it was their special day so they should be able to have the photographer they wanted since day one! What! I knew from THAT moment on, that I didn’t care who they were or what they had planned, I NEEDED to document their big day!
Fast forward to the consult and Sam and I kicked it off immediately. I wasn’t able to meet Brad just yet as our schedules just did not want to mesh but I knew I was going to like him just based on the details Sam laid out for me. Fast forward to this past Friday, and I met these two at their home in SOMD to ride along with them to a special spot that they both love- Brads family home in Front Royal, VA. As you all may know, we got snow twice this weekend. First Thursday night into Friday morning and then again on Saturday. I was SO happy that their winter engagement session was going to be a snowy one! It doesn’t get much more “winter” than that! We froze our butts off, Sam may have gotten frost bite on her toes haha, but it was completely worth it! These two are literal naturals in front of the camera and photographing them was too easy! These guys were laid back and down for everything, completely trusted me. There were a whole lot of favorites but at least it gives you some extra pretty to look at!
