You guys!  Wes + Kayla are FIRE!  One thing I try to do when I travel is to do work!  Thankfully, my love Katherine had literally just moved to Vegas and was game to help us put together not just one but TWO shoots while we were in town!  She is an angel, by the way.  Poor girl wasn’t even officially settled in Las Vegas for 24 hours before we put her to work!  So thankful for her and all of her hard work!  We wanted Wes + Kayla’s shoot to be a fun and funky side of Las Vegas elopements.  From the lights of downtown Las Vegas to the deserts just outside the city. Its the best of both worlds. Katherine worked her magic and gave Kayla the spunkiest bridal faux hawk that held up against the brisk desert wind.  It was Vegas perfection.

Even though we were all running on hardly NO sleep as we rose before the sun but everything happened to work out perfectly.  We were originally planning bridal portraits with Kayla but then we got word that her hubby, Wes, was able to get off work to join in.  It made it that much better!  Especially once we found out that these two didn’t have any photos from their wedding!  WHAT! We were baffled! Andie and I knew that these were THAT much more special!  It was like Kayla and Wes were able to relive their wedding day again and it was an honor getting to document just how ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE these two are together!

I crap you not, you will not find a more genuine smile.  Kayla has the most infectious laugh and luckily for us, Wes kept a smile on his girls face the entire time.  You can tell these two are completely smitten with each other.  They likely think I am a weirdo because I literally make weird noises and scream out all kinds of things when everything is just blowing my mind.  We even had them strip their wedding attire and step into something a little more, casual and had an impromptu engagement-esc shoot at the end! (I’ll share those later) We gave these two the best of both worlds and ended up with some of my favorite images ever.

 Funny story in this shot below.  Its the only image I was able to snag of our street friend.  She stopped, rambled on about something that none of us could make out but she was diggin’ Wes + Kayla’s attire and those flowers!  It was a hoot!  When in Vegas!

 We headed out to the desert to give these two some softer tones and light.  It was PERFECTION.  My favorite light!  Slight overcast with breaks of sun here and there. Swoon swoon!

 Still not sure why we parked so far. Thankfully, Katherine is a saint.
