I welcomed another beautiful family into my life this past week.  I met with the Keogler family at the always beautiful Greenwell State park and though it was definitely HOT, we survived and captured some beautiful moments for this family.  Russ is usually the one behind the camera so it was nice to get him in front of the camera with the two people he loves most, Christine and Knox.  Russell took maternity photos of Christine here at Greenwell so it was fitting to have their first official family portraits at the same location.  I mean, is Greenwell ever a bad choice anyways? Probably not.  Especially the incredibly beautiful light that Greenwell always gives me.

Just like weddings, family sessions with toddlers are always unpredictable. No matter the length of the nap, how many things you bring to bribe them with, sometimes, things just don’t go as planned.  Knox was the happiest little smiley boy but he did not want to leave the arms of his daddy.  Thankfully, there are plenty of little tricks that can be done to get the shots we want so after a little arm workout, we were able to snag more than a few shots of Christine and her precious little boy.  Fare warning, family sessions with little tots are like little mini work outs but its all fun and games so its far more fun 😉 .
