Screaming with excitement over here you guys! Lindsay and Ben had such a perfect Bowles Farm Wedding day! This past weekend, Saturday to be more specific, it was forecasted to be storming all day. ALL DANG DAY. Lindsay had reached out to me a few days before her wedding asking about umbrellas and I told her the same thing I tell any bride who is faced with the fear of rain, go with it! There is nothing any of us can do about it and you should never let a little rain ruin your parade. So after some good reassurance, we all had Saturday in sight with nothing but good vibes.
I showed up to the hotel the ladies were getting ready at and fell in LOVE with Lindsays dress. The girl has some dang good taste! I knew Ben was gonna love it! Linds and her girls are entirely too easy to get along with! I found myself on the dance floor with them a time or two. So getting these girls in the zone was super easy! We arrived at Bowles in time to prepare ourselves, and our emotions, for Lindsays first look with her Dad. These are definitely becoming a favorite of mine. Dads embracing their not so little girls before giving her away. Always such an emotional experience. Then, after my emotions were at a high, it was time to get Ben in place to see his soon-to-be bride. I am definitely pro first look and these two were heaven. We placed them under a giant tree and just let them have their moment while we all snapped away. Bens ear-to-ear smile tells me he definitely approved, how could he not because Linds was stunning!
I’ll be honest, I think by the time their first look rolled around, I was drenched in sweat. It may not have been storming but it was HOT. I tried to stick to the shadows as much as possible to give us all a little break. Fairly certain we all left with tan lines haha. I think one of the most emotional moments of their entire wedding was when Ben has his first dance with his grandmother in honor of his mother. There wasn’t a dry eye in the entire place. We all had chills. Such a special moment and I still so honored I was given the opportunity to document it all for them. It was a rough time trying to narrow down my favorites, so enjoy a little glimpse into their stunning Bowles Farm Wedding.
