This past weekend was a whirlwind.  Literally.  On Tuesday of last week, Allison had reached out to me to let me know that she may have to cancel and reschedule her wedding due to hurricane Florence.  We were forecasted to get nailed by Florence and have substantial flooding and downed trees.  Then our governor declared a state of emergency and Jefferson Patterson park may be forced to close.  Then,  a little miracle happened (in terms of Allisons wedding, the hurricane was not a miracle by any means) Hurricane Florence shifted track and ended up staying to the south.  We never saw any rain from her!  Mitch + Allison were still able to have their perfect Jefferson Patterson park Wedding!

The day went off without a hitch!  We had some slight drizzle in the morning but that was long gone by the time the first look came around. Mitch + Allison met under the trees for their first look and it was the cutest.  Mitch had a smile on his face from ear to ear! A tear was even shed ladies and gents!  Multiple times throughout the day.  It was a bit cloudy and humid but we had such a pretty day and I’m not sure if you guys remember but the sunset on Saturday was INCREDIBLE! The sun even showed its face a few times throughout the day!  Not sure these two could have gotten more lucky!  They were able to fully enjoy their wedding day without having to worry about a flooded venue or downed trees.  They spent the evening walking around and chatting with all of their guests, something that would not have been so open for them to do if there was a hurricane outside.

Enough of my rambles, before I let the photos do the talking I want to say Congratulations to Mitch + Allison.  I’ve come found of these two over the last year and a half and getting to witness them exchange their HEART MELTING vows to each other and getting to celebrate with them throughout the entire day was an honor.  Thank you both so much for having me =D
