I love different!  I love when my couples trust me enough to step out of the box and bring a different twist into the mix.   Jeff + Katie needed something unique enough to showcase how incredible the two of them are.  Katie is my spirit animal with a personality so energetic she could easily befriend an entire room of people.  Jeff comes off a little mellow but he is an undercover fire cracker and the boy loves Katie!  I could spot his affection for her with every glance he stole.  Their energy excites me and makes me even more anxious for their wedding this upcoming January.

We met up at the ever beautiful, National Portrait Gallery in downtown D.C. to kick off their engagements.  I was just throwing this idea out there and Katie mentioned how perfect it would be because Jeff loves to paint!  Bingo!  No brainer on where we were going to have their engagement session!  The National Portrait Gallery is beautiful and has some awesome exhibits!  I’ve actually never been before but Im going to head back soon so I can really explore their galleries!

After getting some snuggles in we finished things off over by the Capital.  We had the prettiest, soft sunset light and letting these two cuddle up was too easy!  I could have photographed Jeff + Katie all dang night because they were so sweet and down to earth!  This is likely why I have SO many favorites of the two of them!  The love is real y’all!  Enjoy!
