Just go get yourself all comfy because Im super biased with this couple.  After all, it is Natter batter herself and her now HUSBAND, Bailey wailey and Ill probably start crying again while I revisit their beaut of a Maui Elopement.

Hawaii was a whirlwind you guys!  We all flew out to Hawaii to celebrate and to photograph Natalie + Baileys elopement on the island of Maui.  Michael, Amber, Natalie, Bailey and myself all flew out to Oahu to have two days of exploring on our own before we settled in on Maui. This was perfect because some things went down after that, making us not see each other  to much while in Maui.  Our last day in Oahu Natalie got really sick.  After flying to Maui, she needed to go to the urgent care because turns out…Nat caught the flu while in Oahu. TWO DAYS before her wedding. I crap you not.  Flash forward to the next day.  Michael, Amber and I had a hot date with the ocean to go diving around Maui….. welllllll.  Not so much.

Michael was not feeling good at all that morning.  He stayed behind in the jeep while Amber and I went on the tour ourselves even though Amber wasn’t feeling so hot and was worried about her husband the entire time.  We didn’t realize how bad Michael was until we got back. We ended up having to rush him and Amber to the urgent care and they both had the flu.  This was THE DAY BEFORE the wedding.  Amber and Michael ended up having to miss the welcome dinner luau that Nat and Bail had arranged for everyone.  Amber was supposed to second shoot but we were worried she wouldn’t even be able to see Nat and Bailey get married at all.

The morning of the wedding, I was still flu free (thank you baby jesus) but Amber wasnt 100% so we thought it was best she stay home and rest in hopes of being able to at least catch the ceremony.  Apparently that rest did the trick because both her and Michael woke up feeling like new people and were able to make it to ceremony AND the reception!   And let me tell ya,  it was a sight to witness.

First off these two are givers because they done gifted everyone a gift and Natalie even had hand written notes as her place settings.  These two wanted everyone to know how thankful and loved they are by them.  But the real gift winner of them all is Bailey with his 100 days of 100 reasons why he loves Natalie.  YUP. WE ALL CRIED. Natalie + Bailey had a MAGICAL ceremony too.  Natalie loves Hawaii, no shocker why cause dang it is gorgeous there. Maui is her favorite place on earth and she was able to have her closest family and friends make the trek to celebrate with them.  They were married on the stunning Ironwoods Beach on the lava rock cliffs while the waves crashed all around them.  Everyone was serenaded by ukulele as Natalie and her momma walked down to Bailey.  The moment Bailey turned and saw Nat he lost it.  I lost it.  WE ALL LOST IT.  Natalie looked INCREDIBLE and rightly so, Bailey couldn’t contain himself.  These two had a traditional Hawaiian ceremony and were wed by Rev Laki who kept us all laughing and kept Nat and Bails kissing, all while surrounded by 27 people and it was MAGIC my friends.  MAGIC.

Following their ceremony, we captured a few just married portraits along the lava rocks of Ironwoods before we all made our way to Merriman’s in Kapalua for a delicious dinner and stunning views. We were treated to delicious chicken and mahi mahi before Natalie + Bailey shared their first dance under the twinkle lights of their canopy.  The fact that the music was playing through a phone and amplified by an empty glass only added to how freakin’ romantic it all was.  Im just so happy that Natalie was feeling better and was ACTUALLY able to get married.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day and I still can’t believe I got to witness EVERY SINGLE SECOND of it.   So congrats to two of my favorite people.  A million thank yous for inviting me along and for asking me to photograph something as monumental as your wedding day.  I love you guys.
