This Chaptico Farm family session has been in the works for over a year you guys! Mother nature has been working against myself and Victoria. Thankfully, we reschedule for a second time and even with rain in the forecast this day, we made things happen by switching from an evening session to the morning. I think it worked in our favor. They say things happen for a reason, right? The last time I saw the Hall fam, Tiffany and Victoria were both expecting their littles. Flash forward more than a year and they both now have their mini-me’s in hand. And these kiddos are cute to boot! Colton is a boy through and through. He was all about wandering their family farm and throwing rocks in ponds. Bailey girl on the other hand is calm and gives the camera her deep model gaze. This little girl is totally her daddys twin! Also, side note, I am super jealous of her tan! ha!
Susie and John live on the prettiest farm here in Chaptico so it was only fitting that the entire family gather here for their family portraits. As any parent or family photographer knows, the kiddos ran the show. It was rather amusing when we were trying to get photos of Colton and Bailey together. You guys will definitely get a crack out of those when you scroll by them. But these two are the sweetest and I could have chased them around and made strange, loud noises all day. When I do full extended family sessions, I always give everyone their own little spotlight. The kiddos get their own time to shine, each individual family gets their own spotlight, the grandparents with their grandbabies. The originals get some spotlight and I always let each individual couple get some spotlight time too. These guys were a blast and Im extra thankful that they invited me to their home. Who knows, maybe the next time we see each other, the family will be even bigger! Until then, enjoy some of my many, many favorites of these guys!
