Ohhhh buddy. Before I even dive into this stunner of a wedding, I apologize in advance for how long this blog post is going to be. Caitlin and Jonathan and their families went above and beyond and brought their dreams to life for one stunning intimate wedding day. Caitlin and Jonathan are beekeepers. Their love for bees actually spread to their family as well and its pretty much a family affair keeping and maintaining their bees and getting hives going. So its no surprise when Natalie and I walked into their beautiful Fleetwood Farm Winery wedding and saw all of the bee and wildflower details they incorporated. Im talking wild flower bouquets, wild flowers lining their stunning farm tables, bees knees signs, honey favors, hexagon ceremony arch, honeycomb cake, it was everywhere and I WAS LIVING FOR IT.
Caitlins parents even hand made custom wooden cutting boards as favors as well and had them hanging and on display and they sounded like the prettiest wind chimes every time the breeze blew in. I also want to give a shout out to Shelby of Tupelo Florals because I was in love with Caitlins wild flower bouquet. The colors were GORGEOUS and I loved the whimsical flare. Caitlin look INCREDIBLE in her Katie May gown and Jonathan was the most handsome bearded beekeeper in his suit and bow tie. haha. I love these two and their personalities. They compliment each other perfectly and the way Jonathan looked at his bride when he turned around during their first look and then when he started to lose it when Caitlin was walking down the aisle to him. Ugh. Hits you right in the feels.
Im always a sucker for speeches – they are usually always my favorite part of a wedding day but dang, I LOVED their first dance. They had bubble wands that were supposed to be used for their ceremony exit but as most wedding days go, they were forgotten about and so we utilized them during their first dance and it was MAGICAL. They swayed and sang together while their guests blew and danced bubbles all around them – I personally used the bubble gun because BUBBLES. I could go on and on with how magical this wedding was. Smaller, intimate weddings are always fun because we really get to know and interact with all of the guests and my couples get to really have a day that truly reflects who they are together. So thank you to Johnny boy (haha) + Caitlin for having me along to celebrate. I hope you two are still enjoying that wedding bliss!
Shout out to all of the incredible vendors that helped make this day insanely beautiful!
