Where does one even begin when it comes to all of the couples I had the honor of documenting this year. I had 21 weddings this year and each and every one of them was different from the last and was equally as beautiful. My couples are some of the best in the world and just knowing they trust me to capture one of the most important days of their lives is something I don’t even know how to describe. Its Euphoric. I documented everything from chic and classic weddings, rustic and country and all the way to ballroom. It rained its butt off for some and others were graced with weather perfection. 15 of my couples opted for first looks and the other 6 stayed with the traditional ceremony first look. All were equally beautiful and emotional in their own right and It was an honor to witness them all. I think if I had to choose 2 moments that were my favorite of the entire year, each you will see in this set of images, would be when my bride, Michelle, was getting ready to see her groom for the first time. She had just finished a first look with her father and was so overcome with emotion that she just lost it. It was the sweetest and took her mothers breath away. My next favorite would be the first look between David + Krista. Probably the most emotional first look I have ever witnessed. David was blindfolded before he was able to see his bride. Krista was able to hug him and touch him without him seeing her. Then she pulled the blindfold off and David lost it. He buried his head into the nook of his bride and they embraced each other for what seems like more then 5 minutes. My arm hair was standing up on that one.
This entire year was incredible and I couldn’t have done it without my team of talented second shooters and assistants! So here is a big shout out to my friends, Natalie of Natalie Grace Photography, Andie of Costola Photography, Amber of Amber Chole Photography, Dawn of Dawn Victoria Photography, Sean of Sean Piland Photography and Kyle of Kyle Weaver Photography. All of them helped me throughout this year and in years past and I couldn’t have done it without them! Some of these images were captured by them. These guys are just too talented to not brag about.
To all of the vendors I worked with this year, you are all beyond talented and it was a pleasure getting to work along side you and to document your work as well! 2018 is going to be a year to remember and I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store for me!
