What are the odds that I find myself on the other side of the world in a completely different country with some Americans? To make things even more interesting, they were moving back to the states over the next week following our little get together! Talk about perfect timing. I met with Ali + her handsome men and took in the beautiful weather and the AMAZ-ing views of Lake Wanaka, where they called home for the last 2 years, for some fun family portraits.
These guys were able to call this little slice of heaven home and embrace a new world and some of the most INSANE nature I’ve ever experienced. They met up with me during my short stay, road tripping through the south island of New Zealand. This was actually my first day there and it was the perfect way to end my day. Started in Queenstown, explored a bit (its super small so super easy to conquer in just a few quick hours) then drove 1.5 hours up to Lake Wanaka. Im still bitter I forgot my bathing suit because it was HOT and everyone was swimming in the lake and the area of the lake we were at was PERFECT swimming temperatures.
Before I start rambling on about New Zealand, let me get my focus back on these three, and lets actually talk about Llewyn! The CUTEST HAM OF A BOY I ever did see! I mean he was just the happiest little chunky monk and I loved him. He was always staring right at me, making faces, smiling. I was melting because he is so darn cute! He made photographing him with his mommy and daddy way too easy. So thankful for these three and the time they spent with me. We captured some of my favorite images.
