Welcome to the new and improved Candace Nicole Photography Blog y’all! This has been a long time coming and I am so excited to kick off a new start with one heck of a Backyard wedding down on the river here in Mechanicsville, Maryland! It was a refreshing change to be apart of a wedding only 5 miles from my house. I welcome all close weddings with open arms. But all jokes aside, it was an honor to get the chance to learn more about Clint and Justin to celebrate their love with all of their closest family and friends.

These two threw one heck of backyard bbq. Justin + Clint own a beautiful yellow A-frame right on the river here in the county and it was the perfect backdrop for their day. The sunset was literally unreal that day. These two were graced with incredible weather! They were forecasted to have almost 80% chance of storms throughout the day and then the day of, Mother nature blessed them with perfection. We started their day over at The Barber Lounge in Waldorf for a day of pampering.  Because yes, men deserve some love and pampering as well!  And I think I can speak for us all when I say that the incredible crew over at The Barber Lounge spoiled these guys and went above and beyond!  They even came to the wedding later that day! Clint + Justin are easy to be around and make everyone feel so welcomed, its really no wonder why the folks at TBL loved them.

We then made our way back to their riverside home and prepped for the big celebration.  Justin + Clint exchanged gifts with their best men and their mothers before their guests started to pour in.  These guys had a standing ceremony with the beautiful views of the river as their backdrop and had everyone in awe when Jasper, their greyhound, walked down the aisle as the ring bearer. These two focused their day on a good time with the ones they love most and I cannot thank them enough for having Natalie, of Natalie Grace Photography, and myself along for the ride.
